Union minister and senior BJP leader Arun Jailtey has claimed that BJP had maintained its credibility whereas Congress was on the cusp of extinction. After a massive victory in UP civic polls, the FM said that Gujarat was very important for the party and they have been consistently winning from there.
Speaking to reporters in Surat, he said that BJP has always been a pro-Hindutva party.
"BJP has always been seen as a pro-Hindutva party and if someone wants to mimic us, I do not have any complaint. But there is a basic principle in politics, if an original is available why would anyone prefer a clone?" Jailtey told mediapersons in Surat.
