A video of Congress president Sonia Gandhi's key aide Ahmed Patel discussing the ticket allocation in Haryana for the upcoming Assembly elections is making rounds on social media. The 38-second video shared by a Twitter user shows Patel discussing the ticket distribution with Haryana in-charge Ghulam Nabi Azad and former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda.
"Surjewala ko kitni di (How many have you given to Surjewala),” Patel asks Hooda in the viral video. He was probably talking about Randeep Singh Surjewala, who is Congress party’s chief spokesperson and a sitting MLA from Kaithal.
"Four", Hooda replied. Although it's not clear if Hooda was refering to the number of tickets but according to reports, four of Surjewala's supporters has been given tickets for the Haryana Assembly elections.
After this, Patel is seen doing some calculations and said that this makes it 12. Ghulam Nabi Azad, then intervens and said he has been allocated six. "That makes 14,” Patel said and asking Hooda "Party gayi kahan (Where has the party gone)?".
