West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Saturday met Jharkhand CM-designate Hemant Soren in Ranchi. The meeting comes after TMC sources earlier said that Mamata will attend Soren’s swearing in ceremony on Sunday. In the wake of countrywide protests and top opposition leaders of the country scheduled to attend the programme, Soren’s swearing-in ceremony is likely to be a “show of unity”.
