Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address four back-to-back rallies across the southern state on Sunday ahead of forthcoming Assembly elections in Karnataka.
Modi will address a public meeting at Chitradurga at 11:30 am, which will be followed by three more rallies at Raichur, Jamakhandi and Hubli.
In a bid to oust the ruling Congress from the South Indian states, the BJP has intensified its high-decibel election campaign across Karnataka and Modi is directly taking on the Congress and its president Rahul Gandhi.
Earlier on Saturday, Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress, giving the party a new acronym of "PPP - Punjab, Puducherry, Parivar" party.
Modi said that after Karnataka Assembly election results, the Congress, a party whose flag once fluttered "from Panchayat to Parliament" will reduce to "Punjab, Puducherry, Parivar" party.
Apart from Modi, BJP president Amit Shah will address a public gathering at Belgavi district and visit Saundatti Yellamma stadium. Later, he will hold a road show in Belagavi at 6:00 pm.
