Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday attacked National Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar for questioning BJP on the relation between Maharashtra and Article 370. Amit Shah said that Sharad Pawar has got cataract in greed for votes.

Addressing a poll rally in Maharashtra’s Rajura, Amit Shah said, “This is a land of Chhatrapati Shivaji, Veer Savarkar, and Bal Gangadhar Tilak. The land where the fight for ‘Swaraj’ began and they ask about the relation between Maharashtra and Article 370. Pawar Sahab, you have got cataract in greed for votes, you can’t see what people of state want.”

The union home minister also lashed out the opposition parties, Congress and NCP, calling them dynastic parties led by Rahul Gandhi and Sharad Pawar. He also compared Congress and NCP with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which he said, is led by patriots such as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

“In Maharashtra, on one side, there’s Bharatiya Janata Party, a party of patriots led by Modi ji&CM Devendra ji, while on the other hand, there’s a group of dynastic parties led by Rahul Gandhi & Sharad Pawar,” said Amit Shah.

Earlier, in the day, Amit Shah addressed a poll rally in n Aheri of Naxal hotbed Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. He said that the Modi government has broken the back of Naxals. Raking up the issue of abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, Amit Shah alleged that the Congress, NCP hesitated in removing the special status due to vote back politics.

He also accused the Congress of doing nothing for the tribals in decades of their rule. “Your four generations ruled nation for 70 years, what you did for Adivasis?” Amit Shah asked former Congress president Rahul Gandhi.
