Voting for Maharashtra and Haryana Assembly elections has concluded and results will be announced on October 24. However, several exit polls predicted a clear majority for the Bharatiya Janata Party alliance in Maharashtra and well as in Haryana. BJP and it alliance are likely to get around 210 seats in Maharashtra, according to the poll of polls. As compared with 2014, BJP+ is likely to witness a rise of 30 seats as they won 186 seats in 2014. Whereas, the Congress-NCP alliance might only win 48 seats
Similarly, the BJP - which had won 47 out of the total 90 seats in the 2014 Haryana Assembly Election, is expected to get 63 seats in Haryana. Which means, it could gain around 15 seats. The Congress could be the second-biggest party with 11 seats, 4 less than what it won in 2014.
