An opinion poll by News Nation predicted that Sachin Pilot led Congress will uproot the Vasundhara Raje government in the December 7 Rajasthan Assembly polls. As per the News Nation opinion, first any national channel after the announcement of elections dates, Congress party will secure 113 to 117 seats against the BJP’s 71 to 75.
The pre-poll survey by News Nation projected that others will bag 10 to 14 seats in the upcoming Rajasthan Assembly elections. The results of India’s one of the most trusted prepoll surveys suggested that Raje will battle against the strong anti-incumbency in the state.

Who is people’s favourite Chief Minister
While the results of the opinion poll brought good news for Congress, it also highlighted the biggest issue the party may face – who will be its chief ministerial candidate?
According to the survey, 32 per cent people supported Ashok Gehlot as their favourite candidate for the top job. However, party’s likely CM candidate Sachin Pilot was the first choice of just 14 per cent respondent. On the other hand, only 21 per cent people wanted to see Vasundhara Raje as Rajasthan’s chief minister.

Rajasthan will go to polls on December 7 in a single phase. The notification will be issued on November 12 and the last date for filing nominations will be November 19. The results will be declared on December 11.
