Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced the all-new 2019 Suzuki Hayabusa in the Indian market. The bike was first launched in the year 1999 and since then it has become the most iconic sports bike across the globe. The main attraction of the bike is its looks and top speed which can cross the mark of 300 kmph. Suzuki Hayabusa even enjoy a huge fanbase in India as well and has even received an overwhelming demand at one point, which made Suzuki Motorcycle India to make the Hayabusa to assemble in India in the year 2017.

The new Suzuki Hayabusa will be available in two new colour schemes Metallic Oort Gray and Glass Sparkle Black with updated graphics and added pair of side reflectors.

Suzuki Hayabusa has been discontinued in Europe because the bike no longer meets the Euro 4 emission regulations. However, it is available for sale in the United States of America.

Satoshi Uchida, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India said, "For 20 years, the Suzuki Hayabusa has been one of the most loved sportsbikes among the enthusiasts and has received an excellent response in India. It is our constant endeavour to offer great products, and we are pleased to launch the 2019 edition of Hayabusa in two new colour schemes appealing to a larger fan base and enthusiasts in India’’.

Talking about the specifications of the current version of Suzuki Hayabusa, it sports a 1,340 cc in-line four-cylinder engine which can produce 197 bhp at 9,500 rpm and 155 Nm of peak torque at 7,200 rpm. With this powerful engine, it can attain the speed of 100 in just 2.7 seconds and cross 300 kmph. 

With BSVI norms coming into effect in India in 2020, current generation Hayabusa will be discontinued at the time. A new turbocharged engine complying with new BSVI emission norms will be ready by 2022.
