Mahindra is gearing up to launch its new flagship model Mahindra Y400 SUV in India. The launch event is likely to take place on October 9. The new seven-seater SUV will sit above Mahindra’s already existing XUV 500 variant. It is also expected to replace the first-gen SsangYong Rexton. Earlier, Mahindra showcased the car at Auto Expo 2018. Mahindra Y400 SUV gets a unique grill design which is more in-line with other Mahindra models.

The new Mahindra Y400 SUV will take on Toyota Fortuner, the Isuzu MU-X and the Ford Endeavour in the segment. Speculations suggest that it will be Rs 4 lakh to Rs 5 lakh less expensive than the Toyota Fortuner.

According to reports, the new Mahindra Y400 SUV will come with driver-side airbag as standard, ample storage spaces inside the cabin. Fog lamps, alloy wheels, reverse camera and LED tail lamps are also part of the car.
Speaking about the audio system, Mahindra Y400 gets the new 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system for both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with Bluetooth connectivity according to reports.

Mahindra Y400 SUV expected Price:
Mahindra Y400 SUV base model price is expected to be around Rs 22 lakh and for the high-end variant, the price will be around Rs 28 lakh.
