Bajaj Auto launched the new 2018 Avenger series in the Indian market on Thursday. The new Avenger Cruise and Street 220 is priced at Rs 93,466 for ex-showroom, while the Avenger Street 150 is priced at Rs 81,459 for ex-showroom.
Recently, the company revealed its complete line up of 2018 which both featured the Avenger Cruise and Street. Both the bikes get newly designed headlamps.
The Avenger Cruise features a newly designed LED DRL (Daytime Running Lamp) headlamps. Except for slightly tweaked side panels, the other overall design remains the same. The front end gets a revamped tall windscreen fixed to the chrome bracket along with a pillion backrest.
Another prominent detail that the macho beast gets is a modern-looking cluster with Blue backlit for the Cruise and Orange backlit for the Street. The instrument cluster also features a cowl to protect from direct sunlight.

The Avenger 220 Cruise is set with spoke wheels and possesses a newly designed seat with different textures. Equipped with wide highway comfort handlebars, the bike is available in two colour variants, Auburn Black and Moon White.
On the other hand, the Avenger Street 220 and 150 get a new tail light with a sleek design. The Street 220 is available in two colour options, Matte Black and Matte White, while the Street 150 is available only in one colour option, Midnight Blue.
Both the Cruise 220 and Street 220 draw their power from the same 220-cc twin-spark, oil-cooled engine producing 18.7bhp and 17.7Nm of torque and are equipped with 260mm disc brake at the front and 130mm drum brake at the rear.
The Street 150 is powered by the same 150-cc air-cooled engine producing 14.34bhp and 12.5Nm of torque along with 240mm disc brake at the front end.
Both the Avenger 220 and 150 will be in competition with the recently released Suzuki Intruder 150.
