The BS6 compliant version of TVS Star City+ was recently launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 62,034. To be more specific, the price for a monotone variant of BS6 TVS Star City+ in India has been set at Rs 62,034. Whereas, the dual-tone variant of BS6 TVS Star City+ costs Rs 62,534. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi. It is to be noted that BS-VI (BS6) emission regulations are set to kick in India from April 1, 2020.
Coming back to the BS6 TVS Star City+, the motorcycle comes equipped with a new LED headlamp and a redesigned fairing along with newly designed rearview mirrors as well. As compared to the BS4 TVS Star City+, the updated motorcycle gets added features such as a new part-digital part-analogue console, dual-tone seat, a USB mobile charger, and 5-step adjustable shock absorbers at the rear.
Under the hood, the motorcycle is powered by the new 109 cc BS6 compliant engine which has ETFi or Eco-Thrust fuel injection technology. The motor is mated to a 4-speed gearbox. The bike comes with a top speed of 90 kmph. The BS6 TVS Star City+ churns out 8.08 bhp at 7,350 rpm and 8.7 Nm of peak torque at 4,500 rpm.

The bike has a kerb weight of 116 kg. It goes up against the likes of the Bajaj Platina 110 and the Hero HF Deluxe. The new TVS Star City + also gets a USB mobile charging port as standard. Bookings for the new TVS Star City + have begun across India.
