KTM, two-wheeler super-sport bike company, has finally started delivering RC 125 in India. It is to be noted that the KTM RC 125 was recently launched in India at the price of Rs 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). On the competition front, the KTM Rc 125 is up against Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 in the Indian market.
According to the company, KTM RC16 is inspired by the MotoGP machine. Coming to the designs and body of KTM RC16, the motorcycle is fully faired and it gets the company's steel trellis frame, upside down forks by WP and a triple clamp handlebar as well. It is also equipped with twin projector headlamps with daytime running lamps and a digital instrument console.
The KTM RC16 has a ground clearance of 157 mm and has a weight of 154.2 kg. As far as the engineering is concerned, KTM RC16 uses the 124 cc single-cylinder engine which produces 14.3 bhp of power and 12 Nm of peak torque. It is paired to a 6-speed gearbox.
On the braking front, KTM RC16 comes from a 300 mm disc up at the front and a 230 mm disc at the rear. The KTM’s new arrival gets a Bosch single-channel ABS and rear-lift mitigation (RLM).
Importantly, KTM has a number of offerings lined up for the second half of the year. This includes the 390 Adventure, new RC family, updated Duke family and more. According to the NDTV’s carandbike, all of these models are expected to have a global unveil at EICMA in November this year and will slowly make their way to the Indian market by early 2020.
In January this year, KTM had introduced its street super-sport RC 390 R, which is the successor of the RC 390.
