Hero Electric expands its dealer network in India, opens eight new dealerships

Hero Electric, India’s biggest electric vehicle brand, on Wednesday announced expansion of its dealer network in eastern and central part of the country.

In a statement, Hero Electric said, “The company plans to open 15 new dealerships in the next two months, and will strengthen its network across all key markets with this new expansion. The dealer facilities of Hero Electric include advanced services, equipped with a fleet of highly trained and qualified professionals ensuring the highest levels of after-sales service and solutions to existing customers.”

"At Hero Electric, we aim to provide eco-friendly mobility solutions to people. We are proud to have the largest dealer network across the country and recently crossed 600 touchpoints. Our eco-friendly products are accessible to many more people across India, enabling every Indian to have a chance to use zero emission, sustainable mobility solutions from Hero Electric. We are planning to open over 1500 touch points in the next 2 years to penetrate the most interior parts of the country," said Sohinder Gill, CEO, Hero Electric India.

According to the Hero Electric, the company has now extended its network with eight new dealerships in Guwahati (Assam), Una (Gujarat), Kaithal and Rohtak (Haryana), Baranagar (Madhya Pradesh), Shirwal (Maharashtra) and Thenkasi (Tamil Nadu).

“In the next phase of the current expansion plans, Hero Electric will open fifteen new dealerships across cities like Amta (West Bengal), Timarani (Madhya Pradesh), Hazipur (Bihar), and Pratapura (Chhattisgarh), among others,” the statement added.

The company, in the end, said that the new dealerships will offer best-in-class electric two-wheeler sales and service facility, along with the entire range of Hero Electric products available in India.

Notably, the brand Hero was found by late Dayanand Munjal in the year 1956. And now, Hero Electric is one of the oldest and biggest electric vehicle brands in India and has been leading the electric two-wheeler industry.

As of now, Hero Electric has around 610 sales and service outlets spread across the country. Importantly, the company has close to 3 lakh electric two-wheelers in India.
