Hero MotoCorp is all set to launch the new Maestro Edge 125 and Pleasure 110 on May 13. Well, the Hero Maestro Edge 125 has been a long awaited model from the manufacturer after being first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. In the same event, Hero Destini 125 was launched. Interestingly, with the launch of Maestro Edge 125 and Pleasure 110, the company will take the total number of launches to five this month. On May 1, the company had launched Hero XPulse 200, Hero XPulse 200T and Hero Xtreme 200S.
Notably, Hero Maestro Edge 125 targets younger set of buyers with its sharp, sporty styling. The scooter will come with sharp lines, alloy wheels, USB charging and the company's i3S start-stop technology to achieve higher efficiency. In terms of power, the scooter has 125 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine which will deliver 8.5 bhp and 10.2 Nm of peak torque.

The engine will come paired with a CVT unit. Maestro Edge 125 also features an external fuel-filler cap, digi-analogue instrumentation along with side stand and service indicators. Hero could offer the front disc brake on both variants of the Maestro Edge 125 – carb and FI. In terms of competition, Maestro Edge 125 will go up against scooters likes of the Honda Grazia and the TVS Ntorq 125
On the other hand, the updated Hero Pleasure 110 is to get a big redesign along with an updated engine. According to the media reports, Hero Pleasure 110 will get the same engine that presently powers both Hero Duet and Hero Maestro Edge. It is a 110.9 cc engine that churns out 8 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 8.7 Nm at 5,500 rpm.
Importantly, Maestro Edge 125 is expected to be priced slightly higher than the Destini 125 (which starts at Rs 55,080), while the Pleasure 110 will cost a little more than the 102cc Pleasure that starts at Rs 45,100.
