Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI), the second largest two-wheeler-maker, announced the foray into the premium big bike retailing with the first exclusive outlet in Gurugram. Branded Honda BigWing, these outlets will provide personalised sales and after-sales service experience to Honda big bike models customers.
HMSI’ big bikes portfolio ranges from the 300-cc CB300R to the 1800-cc Goldwing super bikes, the company said in a statement Friday.
“We are happy to announce the first BigWing at Gurugram in Haryana which will serve as a roadmap for further expansion of the Silver Wing Mark in the country,” said Yadvinder Singh Guleria, senior vice-president for sales and marketing at HMSI.
The exclusive outlet made the first deliveries of GoldWing, Africa Twin and CB300R to customers Thursday, the company said.
“Earlier this year, we made a commitment to expand our premium motorcycle business under our Silver Wing-Mark. BigWing will introduce motorcycling enthusiasts to a new side of Honda providing them with personalised experience,” said Minoru Kato, president and chief executive, HMSI.
Honda BigWing is an outcome of the HMSI’s bid to create a differentiated experience for its big bike customers, Guleria added.
