The Japanese bike maker Kawasaki has rolled out its much awaited Kawasaki Versys X-300 in India at a price tag of Rs 4.60 lakh (ex-showroom).
Versys X-300 is the youngest entrant in Kawasaki’s adventure touring segment. It is built on “any-road any-time performance mode,” the company claimed.
The newly launched bike is powered by a 296 cc parallel-twin engine and has been tuned to make 39 bhp at 11,500 rpm & develop a peak torque of 25.7 Nm at 10,000 rpm.
"The Versys-X 300 will offer a high level of riding excitement and rider confidence in a wide variety of roads. What makes Versys-X 300 versatile is comfortable highway cruising and easy riding in the city," Yutaka Yamashita, Managing Director of India Kawasaki Motors said.
In October, the company had unveiled Ninja 400 at the Tokyo Motor Show in Japan.

The Kawasaki Ninja 400 had replaced Kawasaki Ninja 300 in India as well as in other markets.
The bike is powered by 399 cc parallel twin engine and offers improved low-end torque while retaining a smooth throttle.
The Kawasaki Ninja 400 is lighter than its predecessor Ninja 300.The motorcycle also produces 45.6PS / 38Nm, a significant upgrade from the Ninja 300. It also features a 310 mm front disc brake with Nissin calipers and ABS.
