Over 4 lakh units of TVS NTorq 125 have been sold in India. It is to be noted that the 125cc scooter was first launched in India in February 2018. According to a report of NDTV's carandbike, on the sales front, the NTorq 125 has been consistent. One lakh units were sold in the first seven months. By September 2019, the NTorq 125 sold over 3.5 lakh units, and now it has crossed the 4 lakh unit sales milestone.
Recently, TVS Motor Company had launched the NTorq Race Edition. It comes equipped with an LED headlight, with a LED daytime running light, and a unique colour scheme. The scooter is available in colour options of red, black and silver. It further gets chequered race-style decals on the front apron and body panels.
TVS Ntorq 125 Race Edition uses the same 124.8 cc single-cylinder engine that delivers 9.4 hp and 10.5 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a CVT automatic gearbox. However, the TVS NTorq 125 Race Edition costs Rs 3,000 more than the standard variant. The NTorq also comes equipped with a segment-first Bluetooth connectivity, providing turn-by-turn navigation on the digital instrument console, as well as SMS and call alerts.

TVS Motor Company is expected to introduce the Bharat Stage VI (BS6) variant of NTorq 125 soon. Prices are expected to go up by around Rs 6,000-7,000 over the current ex-showroom price of Rs 59,687. On the competition front in India, TVS NTorq 125 is up against Aprilia Storm 125 and Hero Maestro Edge 125.
