Italian two-wheeler manufacturer Piaggio Group partnered with (RED) to launch the Vespa RED special edition scooter in India as part of its commitment to the fight against AIDS. The special edition scooter is priced at Rs. 87,009 (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and on every purchase, it will trigger a $50 (around Rs 3,275) donation to the Global Fund to fight AIDS in India.

(RED) is a highly respected worldwide brand that partners with the world's most iconic brands that contribute up to 50 per cent of profits from (RED)-branded goods and services to the Global Fund.

Based on the Vespa 125 model, the new Vespa RED sports a red body colour to support the organisation along with complementing 12-inch red alloy wheels. The version also receives a red art leather seat beside the other standard features of the scooter.

Powered by a 125cc, three-valve engine, the Vespa 125 offers 10PS of power and 10.6Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a CVT automatic gearbox.
