Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer Suzuki recently launched the highly awaited Gixxer 250. In the segment, the Suzuki Gixxer 250 will compete against the established players like Honda CBR 250R and Yamaha Fazer 25. So, let’s make a comparison between the prices, features and specifications of these three motorcycles and try to find out which is best.
Suzuki Gixxer SF 250
Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 has a 4-valve, single-cylinder, 4-stroke, oil-cooled, SOHC motor which produces the power of 26.5 PS at 9,000 rpm and 22.6 Nm of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine gets fuel injection technology and is mated to 6-speed gearbox.

On the features front, the all-new Gixxer SF 250 gets dual outlet type exhaust, split seat, seat cover, tank protector, DC socket, DC socket, digital speedometer, clip-on handlebars, LED headlamp and tail lights and smoked visor. Interestingly, the motorcycle also comes with Suzuki Easy start system.
The motorcycle gets a disc up front and at the rear and dual-channel ABS. It also have a telescopic suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
The motorcycle has been launched in two colour options i.e. Metallic Matte Black and Metallic Matte Platinum Silver.

Honda CBR 250R
On the engineering front, Honda CBR 250R is powered by a 249.60-cc, liquid-cooled, 4-stroke, SI engine that churns out 26.5 PS at 8,500 rpm and 22.9 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. With a PGM-fuel injection system, the motorcycle is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
On the features front, Honda CBR 250R is available with full sporty cowl, digital instrument panel, racing muffler, split seat, LED headlamp, sporty graphics and grab rail.
The motorcycle gets a disc up front and at the rear and dual-channel ABS. It also have a telescopic suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
Interestingly, Honda CBR 250R has four colour options i.e. Pearl Sports Yellow, Matte Axis Gray Metallic with Striking Green, Matte Axis Gray Metallic with Mars Orange and Sports Red.
While the standard variant of Honda CBR 250R is priced at Rs 1,65,409 (ex-showroom, Delhi), ABS variant is available at the cost of Rs 1,94,932 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Yamaha Fazer 25
Yamaha Fazer 25 is available with a 249-cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve engine that churns out 20.9 PS at 8,000 rpm and 20 Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. It gets fuel injection technology and is mated to 5-speed gearbox.
On the features front, Yamaha Fazer 25 gets a wide seat, dual horn, LED headlight, aerodynamic front cowl and tail light.
The motorcycle gets a disc up front and at the rear and dual-channel ABS. It also have a telescopic suspension at the front and a monoshock at the rear.
