Suzuki has revealed a reduction in prices of its two mega bikes - The Hayabusa and the GSX-R1000R in India.
Suzuki has dropped the rates to 25 per cent in comparison to the previous 30 per cent due to the reduction in Completely Built-Up (CBU) customs duties. The iconic Hayabusa gets a price cut of Rs 28,000 and now the price of the superbike stands at Rs 13.59 lakh. The GSX-R1000R is priced at Rs. 19.8, the previous price was Rs. 22 lakh
Other heavy superbikes manufactured by Suzuki might also get a price cut soon.
The main reason behind the price slash is the reduction in import duties on motorcycles with pre-assembled engine and gearbox. The import duty now stands at 25 per cent as compared to the previous 30 per cent.
Hayabusa recently got two new colour options – Pearl Mira Red/ Pearl Glacier White and Glass Sparkle Black. The other features are same as the previous Hayabusa.
The Suzuki Hayabusa has been the standout power bike in India and the GSX-R1000R comes with numerous updates. The new price updates add more appeal to it and have already excited superbike enthusiasts.
