The BS6 compliant version of TVS Apache RR310 was recently launched in India for an introductory price of Rs 2.40 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). TVS Apache RR310 BS6 not only comes equipped with an updated engine but also includes fresh technological enhancements. It is to be noted that BS-VI (BS6) emission regulations are set to kick in India from April 1, 2020.
TVS Apache RR310 BS6 comes with a trellis frame. On the features front, the motorcycle includes like bi-LED twin projector headlamps, LED taillights, patented deflector cowel, 5-inch vertical TFT multi-information instrument panel and Bluetooth-enabled SmartXonnect.
TVS Apache RR310 BS6 further includes RT-slipper clutch and throttle-by-wire technology. The BS6 Apache RR310 comes in Racing Red and Titanium Black colour options. Suspension duties are handled by inverted cartridge telescopic front forks and a floating piston gas assisted monoshock at the rear. The motorcycle comes with 17-inch wheels with Michelin Road 5 tyres.
There is a single petal-type disc at both the ends (300mm front, 240mm rear). Also, the bike includes dual-channel ABS. Under the hood, TVS Apache RR310 comes equipped with a BS6-compliant, 312.2cc, SI, 4-stroke, 4-valve, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, reverse-inclined engine. The engine churns out 34PS and 27.3Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. There are four ride modes including Urban, Rain, Sport and Track. The new Apache RR310 BS6 is also equipped with the RT-Fi (race tuned-fuel injection) technology.

According to the company, TVS Apache RR310 can accelerate to 46.77 kmph in 2 seconds. It can make 0-60 kmph in 2.93 seconds and 0-100 kmph in 7.17 seconds. TVS Apache RR310 can reach a top speed of 125 kmph in the Urban and Rain modes and 160 kmph in the Sport and Track modes.
