Yamaha Motor India on Friday unveiled the 2020 MT-15 BS6 compliant version at an event held in Chennai. However, the sale for 2020 Yamaha MT-15 BS6 will kickstart in February next year. The 2020 Yamaha MT-15 BS6 comes with a BS6 engine, a new colour scheme and a new list features.
According to a report of NDTV’s carandbike, the upgrades on the upcoming motorcycle include the new Ice Fluo Vermillion colour scheme that brings a white base shade with graphics and orange painted alloy wheels. The bike will be made available in dark matte blue and black colour options.
Yamaha MT-15 BS6 will have a side-stand engine cut off switch, a radial tyre and a revised LED taillight. It gets a single-channel ABS set-up. It is worth mentioning here that the automaker has not revealed the performance specifications on the BS6 MT-15, however, the bike will be equipped with the 155 cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The 6-speed gearbox will be retained.

Importantly, the bike will have telescopic forks upfront and a monoshock at the rear, while a dual-disc set-up takes care of braking duties. Yamaha MT-15 BS6 is expected to be priced around Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). On the competition front in India after the launch, Yamaha MT-15 BS6 will be up against the KTM 125 Duke.
