2017 Hyundai Verna official teaser released; bookings to commence soon

Hyundai India released the teaser video for the soon-to-be-launched next-generation Verna on Saturday, which is expected to hit the floors in India next month.

In teaser, the South Korean auto maker has showcased the exterior features like - projector headlamps and LED daytime running lights, chrome accented grille, smooth character lines, and Elantra-like LED taillamps as well as the interior of the sedan that highlights the cabin equipped with a touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, USB, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto support.

In terms of safety, the all-new Verna is likely to bag features like parking sensors, reverse camera, ABS with EBD and 6-airbags.

This 2017 Verna is all geared up to give tough competition to its rivals- the Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Volkswagen Vento and the Skoda Rapid, and the bookings for the same will commence soon.

It is also expected to continue with the current engine options - 1.4-litre petrol, 1.6-litre petrol, 1.4-litre U2 CRDi diesel and 1.6-litre CRDi diesel.
