It has been a quite long time that the current-generation Audi A4 has been ruling the road and, therefore, deserves a significant update anytime soon. Meanwhile, the German luxury car maker seems to have realised the demands of its customers and has reportedly started working on a facelift of the A4. If latest media reports are to be believed, the upcoming Audi A4 facelift is going under test drive wearing heavy camouflage. The facelift is expected to appear with changes to its face and tail.
The facade of the A4 for most of its part looks similar to the A5 featuring the identical grille and quite a similar bumper profile. Though the design of the headlamp is also familiar, the hood has different profiling. On the production version, the grille is also expected to come with a different chrome along with the newly designed alloy wheels.
There is no update on the rear and side design of the A4 as the camouflage did its job well, keeping the changes well-hidden. However, the design looks slightly related to the new A6, especially with the way the taillamps are done and more so with the design of the rectangular exhaust pipes.
