Fiat Abarth Punto productions recommences; check price, features here

Italian automaker Fiat has recommenced the production of its Abarth Punto hot hatchback in India. The first lot of its 40 units has been produced and dispatched to the dealers, TeamBHP reported.

The car company stopped the production of its model in 2016 as there were many several 2015 models lying in stock. Another reason that led to suspension of its production was that Fiat had to accommodate and upgrade production line for Jeep Compass.

Talking about Abarth Punto, it has available in two colours – Pearl White and Hip Hop Black. Moreover, it is powered with 1.4-litre T-Jet turbocharged petrol engine. The hot hatch has an impressive fuel efficiency of 16.3kmpl. The model is priced at Rs 9.90 lakh ex-showroom (Delhi).
