Italian car maker Fiat on Wednesday launched petrol variant of Jeep Grand Cherokee, which is priced at Rs 75 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Powered with engine output of 286 horsepower (HP), this variant will generate a peak torque of 347 newton metres.
Jeep Grand Cherokee has a 3.6-litre pentastar engine, coupled with an upgraded eight-speed paddle shift automatic transmission.
The different models of Jeep will be available at different prices (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Grand Cherokee Summit Diesel at Rs 85.15 lakh, Wrangler Unlimited Diesel at Rs. 64.45 lakh, Grand Cherokee SRT at Rs 1.07 crore and Grand Cherokee Limited Diesel at Rs 75.15 lakh. However, the price of Wrangler Unlimited Petrol remains same - Rs 56 lakh. The price list was issued by the company.

After launching Grand Cherokee Petrol, Jeep is all set bring Jeep Compass in the Indian market. The booking has already started for this variant. “To harness the great demand for the Jeep Compass, we have executed a customer outreach across 21 cities at 26 shopping malls across India,” Flynn said.
