New Delhi:

To mark International Women's Day on March 8, Renault India has announced special offers for its women customers. The offers, which include a free vehicle check-up, 10 per cent discount on labour, spare parts and several value-added services, are extended to all women Renault car owners. It is to be noted that Renault’s offers began on March 2 and it will continue until March 8. The offers can be availed at any of the company's dealerships across the country.

Until March 8, Renault India is offering free car pick-up and drop facility. Also, the company has planned engagement activities at the dealers for its female customers and assured gifts. To make women more self-reliant and independent, the automaker is also holding special training sessions on vehicle maintenance and necessary checks.

Importantly, if the women car owners opt for Renault Secure or extended warranty and roadside assistance until March 8 can also avail a 10 per cent discount. In a statement, Renault India said, “The week-long celebration is to acknowledge women and their contribution to society.”

It is worth mentioning here that Renault India has over 370 sales outlets across the country with 450 service touchpoints that include 257 service workshops and 215 workshop-on-wheels.

Last month, at the Auto Expo 2020 in Greater Noida, Renault unveiled two new turbo engines of the Duster. Talking about the new 1.3-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged, petrol engine, it belts out 153 bhp and 250 Nm torque. The engine will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission, along with an optional CVT automatic transmission. As compared to the older 1.5-litre petrol engine, the new 1.3-litres's power figure is up by 48 bhp while torque has gone up by a hefty 108 Nm. It is worth mentioning here that that existing 1.5-litre petrol engine will be phased out completely.

Visually, Renault Duster Turbo looks almost similar to the existing version save for some minor tweaks. The minor changes include red accents on the front grille, fog lamp housing, as well as Duster and turbo badging on the tailgate. Renault Duster Turbo also gets redesigned 17-inch wheels.
