Mahindra recently opened bookings for its newly unveiled compact SUV XUV300 and as per a report the Indian automaker has already received more than 4,000 bookings. However, XUV300 will be officially launched on February 14 2019 and is expected to cost at a price range of Rs 7 to Rs 8 lakh. Mahindra has also revealed that the compact SUV has received over 60,000 enquiries for the XUV300.
It these bookings turns into sales then Mahindra XUV300 will become the fourth highest selleing compact SUV in the Indian market after Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and Ford Ecosport.
Mahindra XUV300 will be offered in four models, W4, W6 and W8 and a W8 (O) variants. The base model of the compact SUV comes with dual airbags, ABS, disc brakes on all four wheels, 6 Speed Transmission, LED tail lamps, all 4 Power windows, and more, are standard across all variants.

Apart from this, it also includes first-in-segment dual zone Fully Automatic Climate Control and Front Parking Sensors, dual LED daytime running lamps, and premium interior for the top-end model.
Under the hood, Mahindra XUV300 comes in two engine variants, both petrol and diesel. In the petrol engine variant, it comes with a 1.2-litre which can produce 121 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque while the diesel engine comes with a 1.5-litre engine which produces 300 Nm of torque. The engine of Mahindra XUV300 is mated with a 6-speed transmission.
Mahindra XUV300 will be available in six colour options including Red Rage, Sun Burst Orange, Pearl White, Napoli Black, DSAT Silver and Aquamarine.
