The BS6 (BS-VI) variant of Maruti Suzuki CelerioX has been silently launched in India. The price for the BS6 compliant version of Maruti Suzuki CelerioX in India starts at Rs 4.90 lakh for the base VXI variant and goes up to Rs 5.67 lakh for the top ZXI (O) model. This means the price of BS6 Maruti Suzuki CelerioX has gone up by Rs 15,000 as compared to the previous BS4 model.
The BS6 variant of Maruti Suzuki CelerioX will be offered in India in four variants i.e. VXI, VXI (O), ZXI and ZXI (O). Under the hood, Maruti Suzuki CelerioX is powered by the BS6 1.0-litre, three-cylinder engine that churns out 66 bhp at 6000 rpm and 90 Nm at 3500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard while an AMT transmission is optional. According to the automaker, the BS6 Maruti Suzuki CelerioX produces fuel economy of 21.63 kmpl in both manual and automatic variants.
The BS6 variant of Maruti Suzuki CelerioX looks identical to its predecessor from all sides including the black claddings all around, piano-black honeycomb mesh grille and chunky fog lamp housings. The newly-launched car from Maruti Suzuki comes equipped with the same 14-inch alloy wheels which have gloss black finishing.
On the inside, the cabin remains almost the same including black colour theme with silver highlights with features like four-door power windows, manual HVAC, electric power steering, and multi-information display among others.

Other features the BS6 variant of Maruti Suzuki CelerioX include a 7.0-inch smartplay 2.0 infotainment system, dual airbags, anti-lock braking system (ABS) with electronic brake-force distribution (EBD), speed alert system, seat-belt warning, and rear parking sensors as standard.
