Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch its popular hatchback in all-electric version in the Indian market by 2020. The all new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R EV is expected to cost under Rs 7 lakh once launched. This will include the subsidies proposed for all electric and hybrid under the FAME (Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Hybrid and Electric) scheme.

The all-new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R EV is expected to be spacious and may have different styling as compared to the standard petrol-powered version. It is also expected to arrive with the latest infotainment touchscreen system with the updated user interface and smartphone connectivity options including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
