Maruti Suzuki’s Wagon R 2019: Know each variant in detail

Maruti Suzuki’s flagship hatchback Wagon R is one of the most selling car in its line-up. Wagon R is coming again with an update in its design and complete makeover, which will be its third update since its launch. In the last update, Maruti Suzuki Wagon R lost its 1.1-litre engine to 1.0-litre three cylinder engine unit which reduced its pick up power and even its top speed. Now, the company is all set to introduce another update in the popular hatchback from January 23.

Wagon R will be available for sale in three variants, Lxi, Vxi and Zxi and two sub-variants Vxi AGS and Zxi AGS. It will be available in six colour options including Superior White, Bakers Chocolate, Breeze Blue, Silky Silver, Passion Red, Glistening Grey, Midnight Blue.

The new Maruti Suzuki Wagon R will sold in two engine variants of 1.0-litre engine and 1.2-litre engine. The 1.0-litre version will have three cylinder engine which can produce 67 bhp of power @ 5500 rpm and 90 Nm of torque @3500 white the 1.2-litre variant will have a four cylinder engine which can produce 82 bhp of power @6000 rpm and 113 Nm of torque @4200 rpm.
