The Ford India on Thursday launched its much-awaited 2017 EcoSport in India in both diesel and petrol variants with a starting price tag of Rs 7.31 lakh (ex-showroom).
The EcoSport facelift gets a new layout for the dashboard which will have 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Orange colour trim will extend along the length of the dashboard, centre console and also on the door panels.
Two USB ports will be placed under the air-conditioning unit. The climate control module has a blue-backlit display.
The steering wheel will have additional buttons for adjusting cruise control speed. There are audio, phone and menu control buttons.

The 2017 EcoSport will have keyless entry, while the key itself has chrome detailing around it.
Talking about its specifications, it will be powered by 1.5 litre petrol and 1.0 litre EcoBoost petrol engine. In the diesel variant, it will be powered by 1.5 litre engine. Besides this, there will be a 5-speed manual gearbox for standard variant. However, for some variants, there will be an automatic transmission.
For safety purpose, the car comes with six airbags for the top version. Two front airbags and ABS will be standard across all variants. The car comes with SYNC3 and Emergency Assistance feature for better safety.
