The French automobile manufacturer Renault has started sending out Captur crossover, which is to be launched in the first week of November, to its showrooms across India and the new car is expected to be priced starting from Rs 15 Lakh.
The Captur crossover for India will have two engine options, the 1.5-litre K9K diesel for 110hp which also powers the Renault Duster and the Nissan Terrano, and the 1.5-litre petrol which gives out 106hp and 142Nm of torque.
As far as safety features are concerned, the Captur has dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist.
The top-end variant called Platine, include features like LED headlamps with daytime running lamps and Audi-like dynamic turn indicators, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Bookings for the Renault Captur crossover are now officially open.
