Tata Harrier to get dual tone colour options? Details inside

Tata Harrier was launched in India in January this year. Within a short span of time, premium SUV has become a crowd favourite. Tata Harrier has become more stylish through dual-tone colour options due to the rising competition in the segment.

Currently, Tata Harrier is available in five monotone colour options i.e. Thermisto Gold, Ariel Silver, Telesto Grey, Calisto Copper and Orcus White. Tata Harrier is now available in two dual tone colour options -- Calisto Copper with black roof and Orcus White or Ariel Silver with black roof. 

Commenting on the introduction of the dual tone options, Sibendra Barman - Vice President, Sales Marketing and Customer Support, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU), Tata Motors said, "Harrier has made waves in the market ever since it was showcased in the Auto Expo 2018 as the H5X concept and subsequently launched in January 2019. Overwhelmed by the response received, we are extremely delighted to offer the Harrier in dual tone colour options."

Tata Harrier is based on Land Rover's D8 platform and is the first product from the Indian automobile giant to showcase the Impact 2.0 Design Language. Talking about the dimensions, the length and width of Tata Harrier is 4598 mm and 1,894 mm respectively. The height and wheelbase of Tata Harrier are 1,706 mm and 2,741 mm respectively.

Harrier comes with a Kryotec 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that makes 140 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. There is no automatic transmission option available in the car.

Harrier is available in four trims -- XE, XM, XT and XZ. While the premium SUV was launched for an introductory price of Rs 12.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), Tata Motors recently hiked its prices across all the variants by Rs 30,000. The premium SUV is now available in the price range of Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and Rs 16.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

On the competition front, Tata Harrier is up against Mahindra XUV500, Jeep Compass, Hyundai Creta and the recently launched MG Hector in the Indian market.
