Tata Motor's 2019 Hexa SUV launched at Rs 12.99 lakh
The Tata Motors on Thursday launched the 2019 edition of its SUV Hexa with price ranging between Rs 12.99 lakh and Rs 18.36 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The updated model now comes with various additional features like a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with android auto connectivity across variants. The variants include - XE, XM, XMA, XM+, XT, XTA and XT 4x4. However, just like its price, the updated version of the SUV sees no cosmetic and mechanical changes.
Speaking to media Tata Motors Vice President, Sales, Marketing & Customer Support, and Passenger Vehicles Business Unit SN Barman said, "In our continuous endeavour to offer our customers with a superior driving experience, we are pleased to introduce the new Hexa 2019 edition".
"Our versatile SUV Hexa has caught the imagination of the country with its distinctive on-road and off-road capabilities and has witnessed a strong traction in the market We are confident that this new edition will help us take forward our brand promise of offering customers aspirational products with the next level of design and technology," Barman added.
Specifications and features:
The newly laucnhed version of Tata Hexa comes with a 2.2-litre VARICOR diesel engine in two states of tune. While the VARICOR 320 produces 148bhp and 320Nm, the VARICOR 400 churns out 154bhp and 400Nm. Customers are also allowed to choose an automatic unit along with a 6-speed manual unit on all trims except the base XE variant.
Furthermore, the Hexa has not get the option of a dual tone roof and all thanks to the Impact Design philosophy. Other attractive features include - multiple options of alloys on the Automatic, 4x4 trims and a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto connectivity across variants.
The 2019 Hexa has been launched in 5 colour options with the dual tone roof in the top end variants in 2 colour options - Infinity Black and Titanium Grey. It will also have a 10 speaker JBL system. In addition to this, the new Hexa 2019 edition will come with diamond cut alloy wheels in the automatic variants while the manual transmission will be styled with charcoal grey alloy wheels
The company is confident that this new edition will help it take forward its brand promise of offering customers aspirational products with the next level of design and technology, he added. The previous version of the Tata Motor's Hexa hit the Indian market back in January, 2017.
