In a bid to boost the sale, Tata Motors has announced the launch of a new warranty cover for the Harrier SUV. Yes, you read it right. Under the Pentacare Scheme, Tata Harrier SUV is now available with a five year/unlimited km warranty package. However, this costs an additional Rs 25,960 and adds a three year/ unlimited km cover over what is available as standard. The extended 5-year warranty can be availed within 90 days of the purchase of the SUV.
Under the package, maintenance costs for critical parts such as the engine and engine management system, air conditioning system, transmission system and gear box, fuel system and fuel pump, driver information system and many more has been covered. Additionally, any maintenance related to the malfunctioning of the clutch and suspension will now be covered up to 50,000 kms.
SN Barman, Vice President, Sales, Marketing & Customer Support, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU), Tata Motors said, "This package covers almost all major maintenance services for the Harrier and aims to provide our customers complete peace of mind during their ownership experience of Harrier."

Talking about the dimensions, the length and width of Tata Harrier is 4598 mm and 1,894 mm respectively. The height and wheelbase of Tata Harrier are 1,706 mm and 2,741 mm respectively.
In the Harrier, you will get only one engine option. Harrier comes with a Kryotec 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that makes 140 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. There is no automatic transmission option available in the car.
Tata Harrier comes with features including 3D LED tail lamps, 17-inch alloy wheels, Xenon HID projector headlamps and dual function LED DRLs with turn indicators. It also has a Floating Island 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. There are 9 JBL speakers including four speakers, four tweeters and a subwoofer.
Tata Harrier is priced between Rs 12.69 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and Rs 16.25 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
