Tata Motors is all set to unveil its first electric SUV named Nexon in the Indian market. Nexon electric will also be the first car to be powered by the company's latest Ziptron electric powertrain technology, and an expected range of 250 to 300 km on a single charge. After the launch, Tata Nexon EV will join Altroz EV in India.
According to a report of NDTV’s carandbike, the upcoming electric SUV will use a Lithium-Ion battery, which will be liquid-cooled and IP67 certified for water and dust resistance. Importantly, the Battery Management System (BMS) in the Ziptron powertrain is designed for the extended battery life of up to eight years and will offer consistent performance.
As far as the looks of the electric SUV are concerned, the Nexon EV is expected to debut with the new face. One the pricing front, The price of Tata Nexon EV is being expected between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 17 lakh.

Recently, Tata Motors has that it will be offering 8-years warranty on the battery, and as for the electric motor, it is a permanent magnet AC motor with regenerative braking which charges the battery on the drive.
