Indian Cricket Team Captain Virat Kohli on Thursday launched Audi Q8 in the country. Priced at Rs 1.33 crore (ex-showroom), Audi Q8 comes as a CBU product. Audi Q8 also comes with an array of customisation options that include 54 exterior colour options, 11 interior trims, and 9 wooden inlays are on offer among others. On the competition front in India, Audi Q8 is up against the likes of Range Rover Sport, Porsche Cayenne Coupe, BMW X6, and Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe.
Speaking with carandbike, Audi India Head Balbir Singh Dhillon said, "The Q8 is our flagship SUV and will be positioned above the Q7. It is a very special car and every Q8 will be different with a host of personalization options."
Audi Q8: Exterior
As for the features on the exterior front of Audi Q8 are concerned, the ultra luxury vehicle includes octagonal-shaped grille, LED headlamps, 22-inch alloy wheels, frame-less doors, silver skid plates, LED tail lights, and LED light bar.

Audi Q8: Interior & Safety Features
Whereas, on the inside, Audi Q8 comes equipped with digital virtual cockpit, flat-bottom steering wheel, and dual touchscreens. On the safety front, Audi Q8 has company’s Pre-Sense basic package, 8 Airbags, and electronic stabilization program, among others.

Audi Q8: Engine Details
Under the hood, Audi Q8 is powered by a BS6, 3-litre TFSI engine that churns out 340 hp and develops 500 Nm of torque. It comes paired with an 8-speed tiptronic transmission. The Q8 also gets a 48-volt main electrical system and incorporates a lithium-ion battery and a belt alternator starter. During braking it can recover up to 12kW of power and feed it back to the battery.
