Humanaro Foundation celebrated World Earth Day with a pledge to protect the Earth

On April 22, 2024, on the occasion of World Earth Day, the Humanaro Foundation held awareness campaigns in several Patna locations to raise public knowledge about environmental protection. "We need to reduce our dependence on plastic and the current climate is quite fatal for humans and animals due to global warming," We aim to plant as many trees as we can," said Kumar Vishal, director of the Foundation.

By giving free saplings, founding member Sudhir Kumar Jaiswal raised awareness of the environment and the planet. Other members Sonu Kumar, Kishan Kumar, and Monit Raj all had significant roles in the awareness campaign.

Originally celebrated on April 22, 1970, it today encompasses a diverse array of events organized worldwide by EARTHDAY.ORG, with 1 billion participants across over 193 nations. Researchers believe that microplastics in our bodies could be the cause of a variety of illnesses, including cancer, autism, Alzheimer's disease, birth abnormalities, and declining fertility rates.

In July 2023, the Humanaro Foundation also launched an environmental protection awareness campaign. Additionally, the Foundation promises to work positively and educate kids in government and private schools in Bihar and Jharkhand about the value of the environment through awareness campaigns.
