After receiving huge applause at the 2016 Auto Expo, Jaguar has finally unveiled its XE sedan in the diesel variant in India. The petrol variant of XE had been launched then only. Soon you will this luxury car also running on the roads as the dealers have started taking bookings.
XE (diesel variant) comes with the 2.0-litre Ingenium engine that pushes out 177 bhp and 430Nm of torque. It is speculated that this car will be mated to an eight-speed automatic gearbox. This car is expected to be a hit as most of the luxury car owners in the country have a tendency of buying compact diesel-powered ones.
In India, dealers of the XE sedan car have started accepting bookings for a token amount of Rs 5 Lakh. The XE sedan will be competing against giants like BMW 3 series, Audi A4 and Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
