Mumbai:
The Financial Benchmarks India private limited (FBIL) on Monday fixed the reference rate of the rupee at 68.6833 against the US dollar and 79.3805 for the euro.
The corresponding rates were 68.7933 and 79.6746 as on Aug 03, 2018.

According to an FBIL statement, the exchange rates for the pound and the yen against the rupee were 89.2585 and 61.71 per 100 yens, respectively, based on reference rates for the dollar and cross-currency quotes at noon.

The SDR-rupee figure will be based on this rate, the statement added.
