Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Q2 profit up 7 per cent at Rs 64.89 cr

Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail (ABFRL), formerly known as Pantaloons Fashion, reported 6.97 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 64.89 crore for the September quarter.

It had reported net profit of Rs 60.66 crore in the July- September quarter of last financial year, the company said in a BSE filing.

ABFRL's total income from operations stood at Rs 1,886.73 crore during the quarter under review, up 13.08 per cent as against Rs 1,668.36 crore in the year-ago period.

During the quarter, the company signed up a partnership with UK's Ted Baker. ABFRL stock trading 0.11 per cent lower at Rs 138.70 a piece on BSE in the Thursday afternoon trade.
