BSNL on Wednesday claimed it is offering lowest tariff in the industry providing unlimited free voice and data plan for landline/broadband. 

The state-run company said it is also giving unlimited free data/local/STD calls for mobile customers, besides lowest rental plans for landline customers. 

"No other operator in the industry has such attractive plans and special tariff vouchers (STVs)," BSNL Assam Circle Chief General Manager (CCGM) M K Seth told reporters said here. 

"Our network coverage is the largest and widespread and our tariffs are considerably lower than that of other operators. Customers can enjoy free national incoming roaming facility and free night calling for landline/broadband", Seth said. 

Stating that BSNL has evoked tremendous response from across the country, the Seth said his Assam Circle had recorded the number one position in data growth, network growth and the increased number of mobile users under the Mobile 3 Million (M3M) scheme. 

"The attractive offers were also available to the customers switching from other operators to BSNL", Seth said. As part of its unlimited free voice and data plan from September 9, he said BSNL will introduce Landline Broadband Plan BBG Combo ULD plan at Rs 1199 for speed up to 2Mbps flat, Free Unlimited Data Download and 24 free local/STD calls to any network across the country.

 "With the lowest charge in industry for free data broadband plan, BSNL will introduce a Broadband Experience Unlimited Plan at Rs 249 of 2Mbps speed upto 1GB and iMbps thereafter," he said. 

There would also be unlimited data add-on plans, unlimited free local/STD calls for postpaid mobile customers, he said, adding, there was special prepaid plan for students.
