Cab aggregator Uber on Monday said India is the fastest-growing business across the globe for the company and it will continue to invest.
Uber Asia (Head of Business) Eric Alexander said the company started its business three years ago in Bengaluru and is now operating in over 20 cities.
“India is now our fastest-growing business across the globe. It’s a huge driver for us and we are investing very heavily. Uber has invested over a billion dollar into India and we continue to do so,” he said here at the inauguration of US-India Innovation Forum under the aegis of Ficci.
The company, he said, also wants to create economic opportunities in India.
