Reliance chairman Mukesh Ambani addressed the Jio Prime customers on Tuesday and offered his gratitude for splendid response for signing up with the franchise.

In a released statement, Ambani said around 72 million people have signed up so far and as an operator customer would enjoy the benefits of best data tariffs in the industry, free voice calling,  and access to all Jio apps.

While assuring that the company would continue to offer quality service to Jio customers, he said millions of customers queuing up to purchase Jio’s popular Rs 303 and other tariff plans. He said the trend showed that people are still purchasing the coveted plan.

He informed about the plan and said: “We have heard your voice, and we are extending the deadline for purchasing Jio’s Rs 303 (and other) plans till April 15.”

“Customers who could not enrol for Jio Prime by 31st March for whatever reason can still do so by paying Rs 99 along with their first purchase of Jio’s Rs 303 and other plans till 15th April,” he said.

He further said,” Every JIO PRIME member – when they make their first paid recharge prior to 15th April using Jio’s Rs 303 plan (or any higher value plan) – will get services for the INITIAL 3 MONTHS on a complimentary basis. Your paid tariff plan will be applied only in July, after the expiry of the complimentary service.”
