After the sacking of Cyrus Mistry from the post of Tata Group Chairman, three senior group executives at Tata Sons have also resigned from their posts, say sources.

After the sacking of Cyrus Mistry from the post of Tata Group Chairman, three senior group executives at Tata Sons have also resigned from their posts, say sources. Human resources chief NS Rajan; group business development and public affairs head Madhu Kannan; and group strategy executive Nirmalya Kumar have quit from their positions, reports said on Saturday.

According to reports, the three top executives were part of executive council. The council had five senior members Tata group executives along with Cyrus Mistry. The council had the responsibility of creating long-term value for stakeholders and boosting returns on investment.

There is no likelihood of vacant positions being filled at the council as the Tata group’s structure with the exit of Cyrus Mistry, say a source. However, another source said that the replacements may be announced by next week.
