The government on Monday hiked the prices of non-subsidised LPG cylinders by Rs 38.50 per unit in New Delhi. The LPG cylinder will cost Rs 529 per cylinder in the national capital as against Rs 492 earlier, Indian Oil Corporation said on its website. The hiked prices will be effective from Monday midnight.
Prices of subsidised LPG cylinders have also been increased by about Rs 2 per unit. Hence, the subsidised LPG will cost now cost Rs 430.64 per cylinder in Delhi. Households are at present entitled to get 12 LPG cylinders at a subsidised rate in a year.
