Ahead Of Festive Season, Air India Announces Navratra Meals On Domestic Flights

The Special Festive Dishes Include Dry-fruit-based Puddings, French Fries, Potato Dishes, Pakoras And Plain Yogurt Besides Imli Chutney (in Creamers).

Ahead of the festive season, National carrier Air India on Tuesday announced that it will serve special Navratra meals to its domestic passengers beginning next Sunday, September 29, 2019.

Moreover, the Navratra meals will be served over and above the various types of special meals which are currently being served to its passengers, an Air India official said, adding that all the special dishes will be prepared in rock salt.

The special festive dishes include dry-fruit-based puddings, French fries, potato dishes, pakoras and plain yogurt besides imli chutney (in creamers). The ratio of veg and non-veg food will be revised accordingly during the period.

Navratri, the nine-day Hindu fasting season will begin on Sunday, 29 September and is scheduled to end on Monday, 7 October. The Autumn festival is observed with pomp and gaiety and celebrated differently in various parts of the country.
