Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali introduces Kimbho to challenge WhatApp

After the launch of its own SIM cards, Baba Ramdev’s Patanjali has now come up with a new messaging application ‘Kimbho’.

The app has been launched to compete with famous global messaging platform WhatsApp.

The company’s spokesperson SK Tijarawala took his Twitter handle to share the news of the launch and wrote “Now Bharat will speak. After launching sim cards, baba Ramdev has launched a new messaging application called Kimbho. Now WhatsApp will be given a competition. Our own #SwadeshiMessagingplatform. Download it directly from Google Play store’’.

The tagline of the messaging app is ‘Ab Bharat Bolega’ and it was downloaded 10,000 times in just one day of its release.

On Google Play, Patanjali Communications has also mentioned the privacy feature of the Kimbho app that it saves no data of users on their servers or cloud.

In the description section of the app, it reads “Kimbho is a real messaging app and empowered private and group chat with free phone and video calling. It has dozens of amazing features to share text, audio, photos, videos, stickers, quickies, location, GIF, doodle and more’’.

The user can also personalise the app by creating themes and pick their favourite wallpaper. The size of the app is 22MB.
