Google doodle rings in festive season with Christmas carol 'Tis the season'Christmas is here and Google has ringed the spirit of festive season with its google doodle 'Tis the Season.' Google has released the first doodle celebrating the Christmas 2016 and the New Year.
December 23 is considered the first day of the festive season.
The google doodle celebration begins with showing the alphabet 'Google' all colourful and personified, singing the very famous Christmas carol 'Tis the season to be jolly...' lyrics from the 1862 Christmas carol ''Deck the Halls''.
The google doodle showed animated figures singing a playing the carol under a street lamp. While all the letters are celebrating and singing the carol, letter 'O' is singing something out of notation book and 'I' is holding a percussion instrument, while letter 'E' plays the music orchestra conductor.
Google is in tradition to celebrate festivals and pays tributes to famous people, characters that have carved a niche for themselves in human spaces over the time.
